What Chroma8 does

  • Draw on a pixel grid with brush, eraser, paint bucket, and selection tools.
  • Build artwork in layers, including image layers imported from your photo library.
  • Animate frame by frame with onion skinning and an adjustable frame rate.
  • Organise work in a library of Arts and Projects, with thumbnails and quick access.
  • Export a frame as PNG, an animation as GIF or MP4, artwork as SVG, or a Project as a sprite sheet or per-frame SVG bundle.
  • Work offline. Your artwork lives on your device unless you turn on cloud sync.
